Thanking him for his liberality, mentioning the dedication to him of the writer's Lettere - Volume III, and mentioning the importunities of the Duke of Urbino who is urging Aretino to accompany him to Pesaro. In a less formal postscript Aretino alludes in unflattering terms to the Cardinal of Ravenna as involved in an unworthy imbroglio.
